Local band looking for a mature and dependable singer, lead and backing vocals. Must attend regular practices.
Influences: Pat Benetar, Joan Jett, Martina McBride, Sugarland and other various classic rock and contemporary country artists. Instrumental experience a plus but not necessary

Re: Female Vocalist Wanted
responding to your message,
i've been playing drums for well over twelve years now. i've played in a couple bands on a regular basis. a band formerly known as 420 (pire). they have moved out west to Seattle and have a new name. i also did a temporary stent in a local band, years ago, called Smirk. the most fun I've had in a band was when I played for Proud. the band wasn't that great, but it was a lot of fun. we had a chance to record at a professional studio and also played all over the Detroit area, e.g. paychecks, I-roc, hamtramack pug, etc. we also had a chance to play in Canada at a place called California's as well as a couple of gigs at the capital theatre in Flint. two main reason's why i don't currently have a band are:
1. i am very picky/selective on the style of music i will play
2. guitar player from G.R. can't stay out of jail
thanks for responding, good luck with your venture
